Senior Congress leader and former chairman of Improvement Trust Dinesh Bassi reached Shri Shri Gaur Nitai Rath Yatra today and took blessings of Lord Jagannath. He wished the city residents on this holy occasion.

Participating in the Yatra which started from Bijli Pehelwan Temple on Lawrence Road, Dinesh Bassi bowed in front of Lord Jagannath and prayed for the well-being of all. He said that every year lakhs of devotees participate in this Yatra. 

Devotees dancing on the streets of the city are a symbol of the fact that God keeps everyone together. He said that whoever participates in this holy Yatra, all his troubles end and he attains salvation. He also urged the youth to follow the path of religion and make their life successful. 

Religion shows you the way to overcome every difficulty and today's youth need this path very much. He also appealed to the city residents to earn virtue by participating in the Yatra held every year.
