Narendra Modi to visit Panipat on December 9, Deliver a strong message of Women Empowerment

Chief Minister reviewed the preparations for the program

Haryana Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh Saini on Monday reviewed the preparations for the upcoming program of Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi, scheduled for December 9 in Sector 13-17 of Panipat, and provided necessary guidelines for the same. He stated that this event, to be held on the historic land of Panipat, will send a strong message of women empowerment. 

He further mentioned that whenever the Prime Minister visits Haryana, he always leaves with a special gift for the people of the state. It was from this historic land of Panipat that the Prime Minister launched the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign in 2015.

Speaking to media persons after visiting the event venue, Sh Nayab Singh Saini said that the people of Haryana have sent a strong message of development by securing a historic victory, the impact of which was also evident in the recent elections in Maharashtra. The Chief Minister said that both the state and central governments are implementing several schemes for women’s empowerment, which are providing significant benefits to women. 

He said that women will be further empowered by taking advantage of the Namo Drone Didi scheme. On December 9, Prime Minister Sh Narendra Modi will launch the “Bima Sakhi Yojana”, aimed at empowering women, which will directly benefit millions of women across the country. 

For this ambitious initiative, he asked the Managing Director of LIC to ensure the scheme is promoted in every village of Haryana.

The promises of the Sankalp Patra will be fulfilled

Responding to media queries, the Chief Minister stated that there is a possibility that Haryana will receive many benefits during the program on December 9, held on the historic land. He assured that the promises made in the Sankalp Patra will be fulfilled.

The Chief Minister further mentioned that the people of Haryana have entrusted the Bharatiya Janata Party with the responsibility of governance for the third time, marking a victory for development. He assured that the trust of the people will be upheld, and the government will accelerate its development efforts in this third term.

He said that some political parties are trying to tarnish the image of the government by creating confusion about the Constitution, but they will not succeed in this. In response to another query, the Chief Minister said that groundwork for bringing the metro to Karnal is currently being prepared, and work on the project will commence in the near future.

Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar, Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda, BJP State President Mohanlal Badauli, MLA Pramod Vij, Manmohan Singh and senior officials were present on this occasion.
