Flights from Ambala Airport to Begin Soon After Installation of Security Equipment : Anil Vij

Haryana Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Mr. Anil Vij, said that he has discussed the launch of flights from Ambala Airport to Delhi with the Union Minister for Civil Aviation, Mr. Rammohan Naidu Kinjarapu. The flights are expected to begin as soon as the necessary security equipment is installed at the civil airport being developed in Ambala Cantonment.
Minister, Mr. Vij has urged the Union Civil Aviation Ministry to expedite the installation of these security systems. Additionally, he has invited the Union Minister to inaugurate the Ambala Cantonment civil airport once it is operational.
Speaking in Delhi, Mr. Vij informed Minister, Mr. Naidu that the airport, which was approved for his assembly constituency of Ambala Cantonment under the Prime Minister's ambitious UDAN scheme, is fully ready. All infrastructure is in place, with the exception of the security equipment, which is pending installation by the aviation department.
“I have also invited Minister, Mr. Naidu to visit and officially inaugurate the airport,” said Mr. Vij. The Union Minister assured him that all necessary formalities would be completed promptly, and once the security systems are in place, flight operations will commence without delay.
Mr. Anil Vij further emphasized that Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi's vision of transforming India into a developed nation by 2047 has inspired people across all states.“The people of Haryana are eager to align with this vision and move forward with the progress of the country.
We are committed to ensuring that our state advances in step with the nation, contributing to both the development of India and Haryana,” he said.
