DC Aashika Jain Conducts Surprise Inspection at Zirakpur MC

Deputy Commissioner SAS Nagar Aashika Jain today paid a surprise visit at the Municipal Office, Zirakpur to check the delivery of citizen services and disposal of their grievances and issues related to MC.The Deputy Commissioner who remained in the office for an hour, minutely inspected the working of each branch besides checking movement and attendance registers.

She directed the staff to maintain the movement register whenever they leave the office and mark their attendance before leaving for the field job.“Besides, maintenance of records need to be improved. Movement register and attendance register have to be updated.

Biometric has to be installed”, said DC Aashika Jain adding that we will have an active administrator office here to resolve grievances Which will report to her directly.She also visited the various tables and staff deputed for resolving the public issues and interacted with the residents present there.

The Deputy Commissioner directed the EO and the entire staff to address the issues and grievances of the residents on priority besides disposing of the other service requests submitted by them within the timeline.She appealed to architects to enter the phone number of applicants so that they can receive SMS and updated status of their files on enaksha portal.
