Himanshu Jain Assumes Charge as Deputy Commissioner of Rupnagar

'Timely and Efficient Administrative Services Will Be Provided to District Residents'

Himanshu Jain took charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Rupnagar this afternoon. Mr. Himanshu Jain is a 2017 batch IAS officer. He will continue his duties as the Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister as well. Upon assuming his role as Deputy Commissioner of Rupnagar, Mr. Himanshu Jain was welcomed by administrative officials and was given a Guard of Honor by the Punjab Police.

He directed officials to ensure that public services are provided within the stipulated time limits. He emphasized that transparency, consistency, and efficiency would be brought to government work in line with the instructions of the Punjab government, ensuring timely and high-quality administrative services for district residents. He also appealed to the people of the district to cooperate with the district administration in the development of Rupnagar and other initiatives.
