He represents the Okhla Assembly constituency of Delhi in the sixth assembly constituency of Delhi. Amanatullah Khan has been the elected chairman of the Waqf Board of Delhi since November 2020.

Early Life Of Amanatullah Khan

Amanatullah Khan was born in the house of Waliullah Khan in a village called Agwanpur in the Meerut district of Uttar Pradesh. He studied at an institute named Jamia Millia Islamia, but he did not complete his degree. Because of this, Amanatullah Khan studied only until the 12th grade. He completed his 12th in 1993 AD. He is married to Shafia Khan, and he has a son and a daughter with her.

Political Life Of Amanatullah Khan

Amanatullah Khan started his political career with the 2008 Delhi Assembly elections. He contested the 2008 and 2013 Delhi Assembly elections from the Lok Jan Shakti Party, but he had to face defeat both times. In the 2013 elections, he got a total of 3600 votes. After this, Amanatullah Khan became a member of the Aam Aadmi Party in 2015. In the same year, 2015, he contested and won the elections for the Delhi Assembly and became a member of the sixth Legislative Assembly of Delhi.
