Energy Minister, Ranjit Singh hoisted the National Flag and took the parade salute at Fatehabad.  The Minister paid tribute to the immortal martyrs by offering flowers at the Shaheedi Memorial located near the Mini Secretariat. Addressing the district-level ceremony,  Sh. Ranjit Singh said that today  everyone is celebrating the festival of freedom while remembering the sacrifices of the immortal martyrs. We have moved from the darkness of slavery into the light of freedom. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, Haryana is progressing on the path of development. 

He said that Haryana produces 37 percent of the country’s tractors, 53 percent of cranes, 51 percent of cars, and 60 percent of motorcycles, showing its advancement. He said that in accordance with Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay’s vision of Antyodaya, the state government has ensured that the benefits of schemes reach the eligible families.
