Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal Takes Measures to Prevent the Spread of Waterborne Diseases

Deputy Commissioner Dr. Senu Duggal chaired a meeting with officials to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases in the district. The meeting focused on ensuring regular testing of drinking water samples, proper sanitation, and sewage management.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the water supply and sanitation department to collect water samples regularly and send them for testing. She also instructed the sewage department to ensure that sewage water does not mix with drinking water.
The health department was directed to create awareness among the public about waterborne diseases and ensure prompt treatment of affected patients. The rural development and panchayat department was instructed to ensure proper cleaning and drainage systems in villages during the monsoon season.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Popli, Civil Surgeon Dr. Chandrashekhar Kakkar, DDPO Gurdarshan Lal, Dr. Kavita Singh, BDPO Gagandeep Kaur, and DDF Abhishek Gupta. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for collective efforts to prevent the spread of waterborne diseases in the district.

ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ਦੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਡਾ: ਸੇਨੂ ਦੁੱਗਲ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੈਜੇ ਸਮੇਤ ਹੋਰ ਮੌਸਮੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਫੈਲਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਰੋਕਣ ਲਈ ਅਗੇਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਹਿੱਤ ਇੱਥੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਬੈਠਕ ਕੀਤੀ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਜਲ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਨੀਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਨਿਯਮਤ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸੈਂਪਲ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਚ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੇ ਜਾਣ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਅਤੇ ਨਗਰ ਕੌਂਸਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਬੰਦ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਕਿਤੇ ਵੀ ਸੀਰਵੇਜ ਦਾ ਗੰਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਪੀਣ ਦੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿਚ ਨਾ ਮਿਲੇ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂਨੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਮੌਸਮੀ ਬਿਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਰੱਖੇ ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਕਿ ਜੇਕਰ ਕਿਤੇ ਇਸ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਦੇ ਲੱਛਣਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਉਣ ਤਾਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਤੇਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਲਾਜ ਹੋਵੇ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਬਰਸਾਤ ਰੁੱਤ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਫਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਜਲ ਨਿਕਾਸੀ ਦੀ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਛੱਪੜਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਦਾ ਪਾਣੀ ਓਵਰ ਫਲੋ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਅੰਦਰ ਨਾ ਜਾਵੇ। ਬੈਠਕ ਵਿਚ ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਰਾਕੇਸ਼ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਪੋਪਲੀ, ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਜਨ ਡਾ: ਚੰਦਰ ਸ਼ੇਖਰ ਕੱਕੜ, ਡੀਡੀਪੀਓ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਲਾਲ, ਡਾ: ਕਵਿਤਾ ਸਿੰਘ, ਬੀਡੀਪੀਓ ਗਗਨਦੀਪ ਕੌਰ, ਡੀਡੀਐਫ ਅਭਿਸ਼ੇਕ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਵੀ ਹਾਜਰ ਸਨ।
