DC Udhampur Saloni Rai reviews formulation of AMRUT 2.0 plan in Udhampur

 In order to review the modalities and formulation of the AMRUT 2.0 plan in the district, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Saloni Rai convened a meeting with officers and field functionaries of Jal Shakti Department at the Conference Hall, DC Office Complex Udhampur. Additional District Development Commissioner Rajinder Singh, Chief Planning Officer Mohd Iqbal, SE Jal Shakti, R K Mahajan and other officers from line departments attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the DC directed the concerned officers to expedite the process of all schemes, including gravity and lift schemes under the Jal Shakti Department, and ensure their timely completion. She emphasized the importance of activating machinery and motivating contractors to complete all schemes in coordination with other line departments within the given timelines.     

Additionally, she directed the improvement of water supply services in Udhampur and addressed the pressing water-related challenges faced by the public.
