In a major boost to Sanjay Tandon, BJP candidate for the Chandigarh Lok sabha seat, heartthrob of purvanchal - Manoj Tiwari, a famous singer - actor and MP from Delhi today reached Chandigarh and provided fresh impetus to Tandon's election campaign.
In a well attended rally at Dhanas, Manoj Tiwari exhorted thousands of his devoted fans to vote for Sanjay Tandon. He told them the vote for Sanjay Tandon would in fact be a vote for Narendra Modi as these elections are held for election of the country's PM .
He said that only the BJP led alliance - NDA has a face for the post of PM -Narenda Modi . The opportunistic INDIA Bloc has no PM face nor any vision for development, he said.He reminded the gathering that no one but Narendra Modi has given them Ram Mandir at Ayodhya.
In his typical style he said, " When you go to have darshan of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya, what will you tell Him that you have not voted for a person who has made these darshan possible."Sanjay Tandon also spoke at the occasion and told the gathering about various achievements of the Modi government.
He said that all basic needs like gas connections, water connections and toilets have been provided in the country to everyone in the last 10 years. Congress failed to do so even in 60 years, he said.Amidst the thundering applause of thousands of BJP supporters Manoj Tiwari enlisted numerous achievements of the Modi government.
Most of his speech was in musical form. Through some of his popular numbers he talked about things like COVID vaccine, getting Rafael for defence forces, article 370, getting Abhinandan back from Pakistan and Ram Mandir. He said that Modi alone is fighting for the rights of the poor while the opposition is using their entire force to defeat Modi.
He called Sanjay Tandon his brother and said that he picks up his phone even in the dead of night and solves any issue that I raise with him. The rally addressed by Manoj Tiwari has provided a huge fillip to Tandon's campaign. The rally by Manoj Tiwari will help Tandon consolidate the Poorvanchali vote.
