DC Kupwara Ayushi Sudan inspects arrangements for celebration of Urs Zatie-Shahwali at Drugmulla

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today visited the shrine of Zatie Shahwali at Drugmulla to take stock of on-ground arrangements made for annual Urs celebration. On the occasion, the DC took stock of the arrangements made by different departments for the devotees visiting the shrine for Urs celebration. 

She interacted with Auqaf committee members and enquired their feedback about the arrangements put in place by district administration for smooth conduct of Urs at revered shrine of Zatie Shahwali sahib. The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure fool proof arrangements on ground so that the devotees do not face any inconvenience.  

She passed on spot directions to the officers to ensure uninterrupted power and water supply, sanitation, cleanliness, ration supply and other arrangements in place for smooth celebration of the annual Urs-e-Sharief at the Shrine. The Urs, which is being celebrated every year with religious fervour and enthusiasm have started today.

The DC was accompanied by Tehsildar Drugmulla, EO Municipal Committee Kupwara and other concerned officers.
