Who Is Paramjit Singh Panjwar Shot Dead In Pakistan?

As per the big news coming from Lahore, Paramjit Singh Panjwar, wanted terrorist and chief of Khalistan Commando Force (KCF)  that stood for separatist movement in the Indian subcontinent was allegedly shot dead in Lahore, Pakistan today on Saturday morning. 

Talking about the incident, it is said that he was on a walk when two persons shot him. As per the reports Kanwar Pal Singh, leader of radical Sikh outfit Dal Khalsa said, “According to our information, he was on a morning walk when two gunmen shot him dead,” while confirming about the news of the death of Paramjit Singh Panjwar in the attack. 

He was gunned down while he was on a morning walk in Johar city located in Lahore, Pakistan,  which is right across the Indian border city of Amritsar, Punjab. 

Who Was Paramjit Singh Panjwar?

Paramjit Singh Panjwar was a resident of Mohali, Punjab who left for Pakistan in 1994 and raised funds for Babbar Khalsa which is a banned organisation as it calls for separation. He was one among the terrorists wanted in India. He was termed as a radical Khalistani who was the leader of the Khalistan Commando Force (KCF) listed as a terrorist organisation which operated from Lahore, Pakistan. 

It was previously headed by Labh Singh, the former KCF chief and Paramjit’s cousin who was eliminated by the Indian Security Force after which Paramjit took the charge and became the leader of KCF. He was involved and alleged in many cases including the 2010 high-velocity twin bomb blasts in Patiala and Ambala cities; killing of Rulda Singh, head of Rashtriya Sikh Sangat in 2009; drug and weapon smuggling and many many more.
