As per the breaking news coming from Punjab’s Morinda, a sikh person allegedly entered the Historical Gurudwara Sri Kotwali Sahib and committed an incident of profanity and attacked the Granthi and the Guru Granth Sahib and the video of the shameful incident is going viral on the internet. 

Speaking about the whole incident that can be witnessed from the viral video, a sikh youth entered the Kotwali Sahib gurudwara wearing shoes and asked the granthi to stop and move. He entered the area where Granthi was sitting and attacked the lady and the Granthi and later he descreated the Holy book of Guru Granth Sahib.

All the people of the Sikh community present at the moment caught the youth on the spot and started beating him while dragging him out of the Gurudwara. After which they informed the police and handed the youth over to them and the investigation is going underway. The whole incident of the youth has been captured on the CCTV camera and is now doing rounds on the internet.

People have started protesting after this incident and they are demanding justice and strict action and investigation against the youth. Ex CM Charanjit Singh Channi is also sitting with the people on protest and he spoke on the incident and said that he is with the sangat of the Gurudwara and with their decision on what should be done with the accused. He also said it is a preplanned conspiracy and it has to be barefaced. 

This incident has created buzz among the people and has become a topic of discussion as such a sacrilege incident is very shameful and why a sikh youth has attempted profanity at their own holy place..
