The team behind the film Brahmastra is getting ready to debut their second song, Deva Deva, after releasing the first song, Kesariya. The song's brief teaser was tweeted by Alia Bhatt on Thursday along with the message, "The light is coming." The song will be released on August 8.
In the teaser, Ranbir, aka Shiva, is seen praising God and explaining the idea of light to Isha (Alia Bhatt). He claims it is what shields us from any darkness. Later, it also provides several views of Shiva and Amitabh Bachchan experimenting with the power of fire. Arijit Singh sings Deva Deva, which Amitabh Bhattacharya wrote with music by Pritam.

Brahmastra, a movie directed by Ayan Mukerji, will be released on September 9 after five years of production. It is the first time Ranbir and his wife, Alia, have worked together. After collaborating on the movie, the two started dating. They are joined by Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy in the film. The movie is the first in a trilogy that will create the Astraverse, an independent film universe for India.
In addition to Hindi, the movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. It has been presented in all four languages by director SS Rajamouli. Not only this, Chiranjeevi provided the voiceover for the Brahmastra trailer in Telugu.
