A piece of heartbreaking news has been making the headlines. It has been reported that five times medal-winning national-level boxer Kuldeep Singh has died. He has allegedly died due to a drug overdose in Punjab's Talwandi Sabo district. If reports are to be believed, then his coach, Hardeep Singh, said, “On Wednesday, Kuldeep went out of his house at around 11am. When till late evening, he did not return and could not be contacted, the family started looking for him. His body was found lying in a field near a water channel on Rama Road.”

A syringe was reportedly discovered close to the body, and it was assumed that he had overdosed on drugs. His family asserted that he was not a drug addict and that they believed foul play was involved. On the other hand, the body of the player was immediately brought to Shaheed Baba Deep Singh Civil Hospital by ambulance, and the stated news spread like a storm among the players. A police team and SI Dharmvir Singh arrived at the scene and immediately began an investigation. He said that appropriate action would be taken after the post-mortem of the body.
Who was Kuldeep Singh?
Kuldeep Singh, who died at a very young age, was 22 years old. He was also known as Deep Dhaliwal. The son of Pritam Singh was a national-level boxer, according to the information gathered. He won five medals in the national boxing tournaments that have been held thus far, including two gold medals.
