KRK aka Kamaal R Khan is well-known for slamming Bollywood stars left, right, and centre. After criticising Ajay Devgn's Runway 34 and Tiger Shroff's Heropanti 2, the self-proclaimed reviewer has returned to Akshay Kumar's next flick Samrat Prithviraj. Ever since the first poster of Akshay’s magnum opus has been revealed, Kamaal has been bashing the film non-stop. The team which has been all set to promote their upcoming film at various events recently came into news headlines.
But this time due to their internal rift. KRK revealed that Khiladi Kumar refused to take Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt with him for promotion. He took to Twitter and wrote, “Team #Prithviraj is fighting like cats. #AkshayKumar refused to take #SonuSood and #SanjayDutt with him for promotion. Producer Adi Chopra is also supporting #Akki. While the director wants to do promotion with a full star cast. Akshay has given assurance to Adi for support of #BJP.”

Meanwhile, speaking of the upcoming film, the Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Sonu Sood, and Manushi Chhillar led Samrat Prithviraj releases in theatres on the 3rd of June, 2022 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. The film is directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi and is based on Prithviraj Raso, a poem penned by Chand Bardai, a court poet of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan in the 12th century.
The historical epic fronted by Akshay Kumar locks horns with a Pan-India Telugu film Major starring Adivi Vesh and Saiee Manjrekar and a Pan-India Tamil film Vikram starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Fahadh Faaasil. Earlier the makers have titled ‘Prithviraj’ but now due to some legal issues it has been named ‘Samrat Prithviraj’. Not only this, owing to the Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 success, KRK now claims that Akshay Kumar will be replaced by Kartik Aaryan in his upcoming comedy franchise, Housefull. He suggests that the 5th instalment will be led by the Dhamaka actor and Akki’s time in Bollywood is over.
