The high taxes levied by Punjab Congress Government on Petrol Products be reduced as petrol products rates much higher and not fulfilling the promises committed by Punjab Congress party in their manifesto before election. To bring the attention of Punjab Congress Government on the failure in every sector, today SAD managed a protest in the shape of dharna at state level and District Headquarters.A huge gather protested a dharna at District Headquarter in Tarn Taran under the leadership of SAD Senior Vice President and MP Lok Sabha, Jathedar Ranjit Singh Brahmpura alongwith former MLA's namely, Virsa Singh Valtoha, Harmeet Singh Sandhu, Ravinder Singh Brahmpura and discussed the issues with DC Tarn Taran, Pardeep Sabharwal and submitted a memorandum in the name of CM Captain Amrinder Singh, So that sleeping Punjab Congress Government may be awakened the sleep.While addressing to large number of people they jointly said that in the past the Congress party has leveled false SAD-BJP Government in Punjab for creating intoxicants and refusing for law, disrespected the Punjab youth and now where the promises and commitments of CM Captain Amarinder Singh which declared by holding "Gutka Sahib" in his hands facing to Takht Shri Dam Dama Sahib that he will control over intoxicants in Punjab within 4 weeks but it is very much cleared from present condition and atmosphere in tarn taran district only in the past (10) Ten days fifteen youths loss their lives due to intoxicants and such losses of lives is only the part of Punjab Congress Government alongwith the association of Punjab Police as well as Punjab Administration which shows that these three wings are interconnected with each other.It is pertinent to mention over here that Vat on Petroleum products in Punjab is very much higher as compared to our capital Chandigarh and neighboring states and public of Punjab is being made fool by Punjab Congress Government by saying that Petrol Products rates are being hiked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government which is totally wrong and frivolous and incorrect and SAD demand to Punjab Congress Government to brign the Petroleum products under GST and resolution be passed in this regard, to Centre Government and GST Council of India, So that rates of petroleum products could be reduce and Punjab People may get relief from high rates.At this moment SGPC Gen-Sec Gurbachan Singh Karmuwala, Dalbir Singh Jahangir, Balwinder Singh Voin Poin, Satnam Singh Chohla Sahib, Yadwinder Singh Manochahal, Chairman Gursewak Singh, OSD. Damanjeet Singh and others were present.
