Virbhadra Singh stresses upon cultivation of cash crops and floriculture

Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh while addressing a public meeting at Lylh Kothi in Bharmour assembly segment today announced construction of new building block for Government Senior secondary School, Lylh and starting of commerce classes in Lylh school from next academic session. He also assured construction of Kilod-Rijoti-Kalaamala road, Kilod-Annanehr road on demand of people of the area and assured to provide additional Rs 20 lakh for Annanehr road. He also assured to expedite the work on Seri road. The Chief Minister also revealed that a branch of HP State co-operative Bank had been sanctioned for Dharwala at Chuddi, on the long pending demand of the people.He also stressed upon the need for cultivation of cash crops and floriculture in the tribal areas of the State and said that he would issue necessary directions to the agriculture department to explore more possibilities of cultivation of cash crops in these areas.
The Chief Minister inaugurated Kalyan Bhawan at Karian constructed with an outlay of Rs. 1.04 crore, and a fire station at Kharamukh. He also laid foundation stone of commercial complex under Special Area Development Authority (SADA) at Patti in Bharmaur.He also blamed the BJP for playing divisive politics for their own selfish motive. He said that the party which doesn't believe in secularism can never be advantageous for the Nation.Accompanied with the Chief Minister were Forest Minister Shri Thakur Singh Bharmauri, Member CWC and AICC Secretary Ms. Asha Kumari, Chairman H.P. State Pollution Control Board Shri Kuldeep Singh Pathania, DCC President, Shri Surinder Bhardwaj, Vice Chairman H.P. State Forest Development Corporation Shri Kewal Singh Pathania, Chairman Zila Parishad, Shri Dharam Singh Pathania, Member, Zila Parishad, Shri Amit Bharmouri, Chairman APMC, Shri Neeraj Nayyar, besides other prominent citizens of the area.
