‘Pakistan will continue its political, moral support to JK people’

Pakistan and its leadership is fully aware about the hardships people of ‘occupied Kashmir’ are facing, Pakistan has pleaded the case on international forums and advocated for peaceful resolution as per aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir, said Minister for Kashmir affairs , Berjes Tahir in an international Conference in Mirpure. In a statement issued to KNS, Salvation Movement spokesperson said that Minister for Kashmir affaires Berjes Tahir during his address said that,“ we need to highlight the miseries the people of Kashmir are facing and organizing such conferences will prove productive for Kashmir cause”. Taking dig and strongly criticising India and international community for their silence over the grave situation in Kashmir, Berjes said that they are maintaining silence and this has added to the miseries to the people of Kashmir, this is the sheer injustice with the people of Kashmir.While declaring the stance of Muslim league for Kashmir cause, he said that the peaceful resolution of Kashmir is included in Muslim league manifesto. 

Stressing the resolution of Kashmir issue Berjes Tahir impressed international community to take cognizance of atrocities being perpetrated by Indian occupant forces in Kashmir. While strongly criticising India and expressing his dismay over the Indian interference in Baluchistan and Fata, he said they are hell – bent to destabilize Pakistan, Slamming Indian authorities for their high handedness and barbaric approach in Jammu and Kashmir, Berjes Tahir said that despite all odds Pakistani flags are being hoisted in occupied Kashmir and this clearly depicts the freedom sentiment of people of Jammu and Kashmir and their strong affiliation with freedom movement.

Extending full support to freedom struggle, Berjes said that Pakistan will always extend its moral, political and ethical support to Kashmir cause.The conference was addressed by chief guest Zafar Akbar Bhat ,PPP chief Khalid Ibrahim, prominent Sikh leader Narinder Singh Khalsa, Member European Parliament Yasmeen Qureshi ,Vice Chancellor Mirpur University Professor Dr Habib U Rehman, Chairman Nawjawananan e Pakistan, Abdullah Gul, Senior Hurriyat leader Mohammad Altaf Bhat, Councillor UK Mohammad Rafiq and senior journalist Showkat Nanda addressed the conference. The representatives of Overseas Kashmirs Haji Ahsan Danish and Karamat Rathore, Sahib Zada Sultan, Saniya Muneer and Zahid Bhat also addressed and participated in said conference.The PPP leader and chairman said that Pakistan wants cordial relation with its neighbouring countries and India but to boost relation with India it is must that Kashmir dispute should be resolved and discussed on priority, He said that Kashmir dispute is flash point and unless it is solved as per aspiration s of people or as per UN resolution no peace and stability in the region is possible.
