Ever since The Kashmir Files were released, Vivek Agnihotri and his team have been making headlines. The film gets a mixed response, some say that the film depicts the shady part of India, whereas others say that it gave rise to violence. The director tried to closely depict the atrocities on Kashmiri Pandits in the 90s, in which he was also successful. This film, made on a budget of only 15 to 20 crores, earned a bang at the box office.

Further, a few days ago, Agnihotri also revealed that he is making The Delhi Files, which will show the black chapter of the Delhi files 1984. Following the same, another announcement has been made by the filmmaker, Agnihotri. While sharing the update on Twitter, he wrote, “A lot of terror Organisations, Pakistanis, Congress, AAP (now Shiv sena also) and #UrbanNaxals are asking me for Kashmir Files 2. I promise I wont disappoint you. The part 2 is called #TheDelhiFiles. Start building good immunity. Coming in 2024.”

Moreover, speaking more about the upcoming film, Vivek Agnihotri once revealed in an interview that the way the militant crisis was handled in Punjab was inhumane and aimed at securing votes. That is why Congress aided and encouraged terrorism in Punjab. They constructed it first, then demolished it. Following this, many innocent individuals were slain, and the incident was covered up. What could be worse than this? No one has received justice to date. However, if people are taught history and truth, they will demand justice, and the government will then bow down.

However, it must be noted here that Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files faced similar opposition from some political organisations who accused him of creating political conflict. But Vivek is very clear-headed on his purpose for making the 'Files' trilogy. So, all we have to do is to wait for more updates regarding the upcoming film. Hope Vivek Agnihotri will not keep us waiting for too long. Moreover, the film ‘The Kashmir Files’  was made on a very sensitive subject.

And after its release, it created a lot of chaos in Kashmir, and many Kashmiri Pandits are becoming victims of death. Anupam Kher's The Kashmir Files has sparked a heated debate on social media. Many Kashmiri Pandits and Hindus are praying for a long life, but at the end of the day, everyone is aware that target killing begins in Kashmir. Now, all we have to witness is that The Delhi Files will do the same. Will it hurt anyone’s sentiments or will it turn into some riots and disputes like ‘The Kashmir Files’? So, to know the consequences, we have to wait for two more years, as the film is scheduled to be released in 2024.
